Welcome to Pistyll Gwyn Alpacas.

Pistyll Gwyn is our home in South West Wales, where we keep a small herd of top quality alpacas, and use their fleece to produce fine yarns and other goods.

Alpacas

We usually have for sale a small number of animals each year, primarily of interest to other small breeders who want to introduce top class genetics into their herd.

Although there are no animals for sale at the moment, you can view our herd here ...

The Yarn Shop

Visit our shop to see what products we have on sale at the moment.

We have recently started focussing on hand-carded batts for spinners, in stunning natural alpaca blends and using naturals dyes - madder, logwood, chamomile, indigo etc.

All our yarns, batts and garments are hand-made, hand-spun and hand-woven here at Pistyll Gwyn and so are quite unique. We will also consider commissions, and are happy to work with you to make sure you can get exactly what you are looking for.

The Blog

Keep up to date with what is happening here. As well as an alpaca blog, there are wider entries covering our adventures here with the land and life in Dyfed.
